Welcome to the Route!
Kastela Marina and Split Marina
The yachts are located in one of two Marinas right by Split. Check in your yacht information in order to find out which marina you should go to. Both marinas are about 30 minutes away from the Airport and we organise transfer. Your yacht will available for you and your crew at around 17.00 on the departure day. We recommend that you arrive to the marina during the afternoon in order to have time for shopping and sort out the paperwork: leave safety deposit and check in on your yacht.
Day 1 (Saturday) – Brac – Natural Bay
In this deep natural bay all yachts will anchor together. Enjoy an evening in the middle of the nature together with all other yachts. Dinner on the yacht combined with drinks, music and socialising. The wild ones often take on midnight swims in the crystal clear water…
Day 2 (Sunday) – Komiza
Untouched and charming Komiza is a small fishing village located on the wester bay of Vis Island. Its picturesque houses and beautiful riverside filled with restaurants are simply lovely. Make sure you walk around and explore the little village with its small boutiques (and great ice cream). Most of the yachts will stay at anchor here and take a taxi boat in to the pier in the evening. Around the corner from the village you will find the beach club where we arrange an open air party right by the water. The DJ stops when the last person leaves the dance floor…
Day 3 (Monday) – Vis
Vis town features a very long river with plenty of good restaurants offering incredible fresh fish and lobster – be sure to go out for dinner here. We recommend restaurant Kaliopa where all tables are spread out in a romantic and beautiful garden filled with palm trees and flowers. This night’s party will be at the “VisTa Klub”, which is an old village outdoor theatre that has been converted into a great venue with fantastic views over the bay. Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze while ordering a drink in the bar and overlooking your yacht anchored in the water…
Today this island is a small paradise however it does have a history and was closed to foreigners until 1994 due to it being the military headquarters of the dictator Tito. Vis has remained essentially untouched since the 70′s and is almost exactly the same as it was back then. The Island offer loads of interesting sites such as: submarine docks, giant gun towers like “Navarone” and kilometer long tunnels through the mountain.
Day 4 (Tuesday) – Scedro
This is a very small Island with a well protected natural bay on the north side. Enjoy an evening in one of the three restaurants or cook onboard. Why not invite your neighbour yacht over for drinks? This evening is very spontaneous and often end in late night parties on the yachts.
Day 5 (Wednesday) – Hvar
The St Tropez of Croatia! You have probably already heard of Hvar as it’s the most famous place along the Croatian coast. The marble river is filled with boutiques, bars, restaurants and cafes. Make sure you get here early as we arrange an infamous beach party that you will love. If you love to party it might be worth spending 2 nights here.. All yachts are moored in Palmizana Marina right outside Hvar on a small Island or in the town. As this is a very popular place it’s recommended to arrive early to get a mooring spot.
Day 6 (Thursday) – Solta – Natural Bay
For 4 years the port at the northwest bay “Sesula” at Solta has been extremely popular. We arrange a party “on the rocks” at Sismis Cocktail bar. All yachts will line up with anchor along the bay. Enjoy drinks on the deck and watch the sun go down. The perfect place to socialize with other yachts!
Day 7 (Friday) – Friday Regatta & Regatta Party
On the Friday we arrange a Regatta for all yachts. By now you should be decent on helping your skipper as a top race crew. The regatta winners are chosen based on:
- Sailing Time
- Atmosphere onboard
- Clothing and decorations
Regatta winners will be announced at the Regatta Party at Hemingway Night Club in Split where both routes will celebrate the last night together!
